Latin quotations on title-page, in two early hands, one perhaps Tayler: "video meliora p[ro]boq[ue] deteriora sequor" (Ovid, Met. VII, 20-21); the other perhaps that which writes "Melissus" on p. 562, and is possibly not an English hand - "vir bon[us] amat seipsu[m] ..."
