The volume was probably bound for Gosuinus Uilenbroek (see: Jan Storm van Leewen, "Dutch Decorated Bookbinding in the Eighteenth Century", vol. I, p. 326): 18th century, black Morocco leather, gold tooling on boards and spine, red leather onlay on spine with gold tooled titling, marbled edges.
