Vellum over thin pasteboard; gold-tooled fillets and large lion rampant holding in its forepaws an arrow, point on ground, with an earl’s coronet (John Egerton, Earl of Bridgewater); gold-tooled fillets on spine; traces of blue silk ties (missing); red sprinkled textblock edges.
