Koraes died in 1833 and in his will bequethed his books to the Library of Chios. The books were gradually sent from Paris to Chios and most of them arrived between 1840-1850. The book bears the library's stamp and a label with previous classification number (probably from the classification undertaken in 1871) on verso of front cover which reads "ΙΑΤΡΙΚΗ 153" (=Μedicine 153). A later accession mark in pencil reads "76.180808" (2008).
